Plunet £6.49 broadband - any people here using it?

Hi all,

I am thinking of switching over to Plusnet's £6.49 offer. Has anyone been using it here? How are you finding the service and what is your overall experience like with them? :)

I’ve been using it for over a year now and it’s fine for me. When I took the offer it was £5.99 per month, so it looks as if the cost has increased for new recruits by what you say in your post. Still, it has to be a good bet though.

NB only available at £6.49 if you are on a Market3 Exchange
I'm stuck on a market1 exchange(only BTW available) and Plusnet Value is £12.99:(......but the experience has been good for nearly 3 years.

Out of curiosity, what’s the difference between Market 1 and Market 3?
I must admit I hadn’t heard of this before although it obviously doesn’t effect my connection.

@Oldbiggles - There's a link explaining the market areas on our website here: http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/products/low_cost_areas.shtml

    Hope that helps,

I've been with Plusnet on the £6.49 p/m tarrif since September 2010 and have been blown away by the service - I was initially worried about moving to a "budget" ISP, but have had absolutely no issues whatsoever, and a blisteringly fast connection, even compared with my previous "20Mb" service from Virgin Media, also great that you can use Plusnet with a BT hub - these can be picked up for pocket money prices.

Not surprising about the BT hub. As I understand that Plusnet is a subsidiary of BT.
