Whew, busy morning! Breakfast, feed dogs, clean kitchen, sort three loads of laundry, start first load, sweep utility room/dining room/kitchen/hall, teeth-clean/nappy-change/dress children, hoover upstairs, hoover living room, take re-cycling to outside bin, pick up dog p**ps in back garden, relax with coffee and computer!
Off to check bank accounts now - financial update coming soon :-)0 -

Exactly! :rotfl:
So, money...
Bank accounts are looking a bit sparse considering we've still got nearly three weeks until payday but the bills are paid and we have enough to buy groceries. Also DH has bought quite a few things for work which he has to be reimbursed for so once he gets that we should have around £60 cash to fritter away! Lloyds online banking is doing funny things this morning - £25 I transferred from one account to another has vanished in to the ether, hopefully when I log back on in a little while it will have magically reappeared
eBay did quite well - just over £26 from the children's clothes and toys plus £50 from our big item. I'm not counting that yet though as it's a cash-on-collection sale and I have a nasty feeling the buyer isn't going to collect
I sent a message on Saturday, immediately at the after the end of the auction asking them to get in touch to arrange collection, had no reply all evening but yesterday morning found a message (sent at gone 11 last night) that they were coming at 10am - erm, no you're not as we're not going to be there! So I replied at 8.15am (plenty early enough to stop them coming over as long as they checked their messages before they left) and explained we'd be in in the afternoon instead but they never arrived and didn't get in touch. Sent another message last night, asking them to arrange collection but still no reply...looks like I'll be starting a non-paying buyer case in a few days.
Re-listed all the things that didn't sell and I'll try and get some more listed today on a 5-day auction so it all ends at the same time.0 -

I don't sell many toys as most don't survive! The things I do sell are rubber or plastic rattle type toys, cot toys, mobiles that sort of thing - stuff they had when they were tiny and so couldn't inflict too much damage on it!0 -

Well I've just posted all of the weekends eBay packages (everyone paid straightaway - it's a miracle :j) and after transferring money out of PayPal to cover postage I'm about £3 short. I can't have calculated the postage correctly
Also added another 23 items to sell this week - double checked the postage more carefully this time.Hopefully should have quite a good week, lots of popular names (Next, Boden, Peppa Pig) so should attract some interest.
