Going to Jersey - Uk or not?

off to Jersey at the weekend, tried looking on the orange website to check coverage but it did not recognise Jersey or the channel Islands. Do they count it as abroad and therefore charge megabucks?!!

The Channel Islands have their own network, count as abroad and you will incur roaming charges.

With the slight difference in price mentioned due to VAT bear in mind that your phone may well wander onto the French networks as well as the Jersey ones. This is especially the case on the east of the island, around Gorey etc.

I am on Tesco payg and was over there a couple of weeks ago. I made arrangements for someone to call me as it was cheaper overall than me ringing them, and so far I haven't been charged the incoming call cost
