Big congratulations. Take some time out to relax and savour the moment. We are somewhere (not quite!) right behind you but we are getting there. Thanks for taking the time to log in and share the news - we too have got caught up in concentrating on clearing the debts and I haven't logged in as often but your good news makes me think of how far we have come and how good it feels to be in control. And looking forward to no more calls from debt collectors. Now that I really can't wait for! Good luck with the aga.Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.
DFD where the light is at the end of this very long tunnel - there, see it? Its getting brighter!!

Hi guys, Changing my siggie to reflect my debtfreeness and our current savings. I wanted to bump this thead also to give people some hope. Although we managed to finally clear our debts in two years. We did have 15 years of debt loaded misery before we hit our LBM 2 years ago.
We managed to have a fabby w/e on the cheap too. The old DH often surfaces and he gets really antsy about having to save, save, save sometimes, but the Aga is for him, so he's more or less onboard with this new project!LBM: 23/7/09. Total Debts on 23/7/09: 24,961
