I got my £50 giftcard last week and im going to keep the life insurance going. We needed life insurance anyway and we have a family,so don't want to leave either one of us in financial trouble if one of us dies. Alot of people don't realise then when you die your debts don't die with you, they'll be taken out of your 'estate'. Which basically means any assets you have ie.any savings, your home, your car etc... Its not nice to think about but i have no intention of leaving my fiancee or my daughter struggling if something were to happen. Next on my list is making a will, bought time i faced up to that one too, ahhh the responsibilities of getting older. Lol.

But do check that there aren't better insurance deals around for the same money. Charges vary dramatically between companies. :)

Have you filed a tracking claim? You can do that if it hasn't tracked after 3 days.

There probably are better deals around Doc N. To be honest if it hadn't been for the £50 cashback and the £50 giftcard, i probably would have gone with a different company but we have enough cover for what we need, its only £6.50 a month so im happy enough to keep the lifeinsurance going with Tesco for now. Though i would have liked one with critical illness cover thrown in which i know some insurance companies do.

I've just kicked Quidco again as they said they would chase Tesco after 90 days well it's now been 105 days for me so going to start creating if they don't sort it out now

Oh !!!!. I did this offer and got the giftcard recently, but didn't realise the quidco hadn't tracked. It's now way past the 45 days that quidco say you can open a query. Anyone got any ideas before I cancel the DD? :(
Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

  • I'm getting well and truly p1ssed off with them now too. This is just ridiculous. They knew adter day 1 that it hadn't tracked. They didn't need to wait 3 months. Very naughty Quidco. Surely you aren't going to allow your once excellent reputation, drag even further into the mud.

Don't cancel the DD just yet. You can always try and claim the DD premiums back under the Direct Debit guarantee.;)
