Hi I'm just wondering if BMI Baby change there flight prices on a specific day of the week.
I looked a few days ago for flights to Amsterdam from Birmingham , departing on the 27th May and returning on the 29th May and the flights were £76 for a return.
I looked today and they were £106 .
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

flight prices tend to change as people book. eg they could have 5 x flight @ £50 and the next 5 @ £70 then up to £100 etc
on Monday 10 seats could be booked so the cheapest flight on Tuesday will show as £100
If 2 people book on Monday the cheapest flight is still £50 and does not go up until another 3 seats are sold for that flight and does not do up to £100 till an additional 5 are sold
however....many airlines use yield management systems that will calculate that if tickets are not selling @ £100 and it is getting closer to the departure maybe reduce to see if that sells some more
basically you can never tell if they are going to go up or down or even when...0 -
For travel in the next 2 weeks those flights will only go up. Low cost carriers know that if you have to go, especially around a Bank Holiday, you will pay whatever they charge. Low cost is low cost only if you book early, easyjet wanted £398 for a return to Geneva booked 4 days in advance, we booked with BA and travelled Business Class for a few pounds more. Check fares on KLM, they might be lower but the BMI Baby fares change every day, frequently more than once a day. The fare is still the same now but they claim there are only 3 seats left at that price and the next fare up is £20 more0
