Who said she was on benefits???

Not everyone who lives in a council or HA house is on benefits you know!

oh pur-lease she's raking in the tax credits so yeah she is

Not everyone who lives in a council or HA house is on benefits.

    That's a FACT.

That was what I said, so why just pick at the OP??

Maybe the OP does get tax credits, maybe she doesn't, but if she does, she's not the only one in the land to receive them is she?

Well, today, a young lad has come to fit the boiler and radiator.
Since 8am, he has removed the old boiler system, broken the legs on one of the kitchen units, pulled one of the worktops away from the wall, and spent half an hour on the phone !!!!!ing about how hard the job is.
I'm getting pretty Pi**ed off now

Now that he's fcuked up your kitchen won't they have to give you a new one? Win win....

    I would love a combi.

    WAY WAY OUT OF ORDER
Who the hell do you think you are speaking to sombody like that, are you trying to say the op doesnt pay tax doesnt pay FULL RENT AND COUNCIL TAX like other people do. People like you tar everybody with the same brush . if she works she pays tax like you do if her partner works he will pay tax like you and me do she has stated she pays full rent and council tax eg possile 120 a month for a band and 500 plus for full rent just because you are a smart a$$ doent give you the right to speak to people like they are a peice of crap you trod on matey. just because she lives in a council home doent make her a lazy sod she pays tax like i do . the rent for council house in lanarkshire is 600 a month private just the same if not cheaper in some places oh and btw i own my home outright no morgage before you start. some of my neighbours are council homes and yes you can get some that dont work but i have GREAT neighbours that work bloody hard for what they have got and when you get told a heating system is getting replaced it should be done in one day i would never expect any of my tenants to have no heating and hot water due to council workmen wanting to delay the job so they get more overtime. As the op stated she is not getting a new kitchen because SHE kept it in good repair eg WITH HER OWN MONEY but now the workmen have damaged the units and she will still not get them replaced . AT THE END OF THE DAY SHE PAYS FULL RENT NO MATTER WHAT PRICE THAT IS SHE SHOULD BE GIVEN SOME RESPECT NOT TALKED TO LIKE A PIECE OF !!!!!! END OF !!!!

Well now they have left me with an 11 month old, I'm 4 months pregnant, and I've got no hot water, no heating, my house is freezing, and there's a gaping hole in my wall.
And for those !!!!!ing about me getting 'free work', if I had been in a better position I would have privately rented a house with these basics as standard. The fact is, I pay my rent and council tax (unlike a lot of my neighbours) and they got a lovely kitchen, I didn't get a new one, I've got an eyesore from the 70's. Why? Because I keep my house in a decent state of repair

It isn't freezingk, its late May;)

!!!! you, you ignorant little !!!!.
My maternity leave (from my job) has just ended, and although not going back, I have another interview tomorrow.
My husband works full time to support us, and despite being entitled to ESA, HB and CTB, I don't claim. I do claim tax benefits, but why shouldn't I. I have been continuously employed, in up to three jobs at once, since the age of 15 until 3 weeks ago. I've done everything off of my own back, and only live in council housing as it was the only way I could get a house near to my dad as there were no private rentals available.
    So screw you.
Thank you to everyone on these forums for helping me, and for allowing me to help you at times too, but for now, I'm leaving these forums.

I dont blame you. Reading some of the txt on her you would think they are all royalty and pay for everything in the uk out of their own pocket.
ignore them you dont need to explain/justify why your are where you are to ANYBODY on here.
