Changing from BT to Sky

We moved to UK from Germany in December 2009. We took out BT telephone and broadband, on the original emails it says telephone 12 months and BB 18 months. We would now like to take out Sky TV phone and BB.
We have never had a UK telephone and internet provider before as hubby is in the Army and we have spent 19 years overseas.
How do we go about making the change?

Hi, you'll need to obtain a MAC number from BT to avoid their £30 disconnection charge, then its simply a matter of applying to Sky either directly on their website, by phone or one of the cashback sites.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
