I ordered and paid for a table and 4 chairs from Oak Furniture Solutions on 9 January. they were delivered later than expected and only a part order - 2 chairs not 4. A month later 2 more chairs arrived, however they did not match the first 2. They were of inferior quality, different heights, the chair seats were a different shape and shade of brown. Communication with OFS was non exsistant they were not interested in supplying me with 4 good chairs. I therefore requested a refund and on 13 April they were collected. I am still waiting for a refund despite this having been promised twice. I have made numerous phone calls, sent loads of e mails and I am beeing fobbed off with false promises. DO NOT Use this Company they are not interested in customer service. Any advice on how to obtain a refund would be appreciated.:mad:

My dealings with this company have been less than satisfactory. I ordered furniture at the end of August. They took the money immediately. According to the website and confirmation e-mail the furnture would be with me in 2-4 weeks. After 3 weeks I had heard nothing so chased up the order. Apparently it would be mid-November before I got the items. I was more than a little perturbed that they took my money and held onto it and did not contact me to inform me of the delay when I informed them of this in an e-mail they gave a curt response. I decided to cancel my order then. This was two weeks ago and I am still waiting the refund.
I know that I have to wait 30 days before I can take any action however this means that they will have held onto my money for 2 months.
Please consider my experience if you use this company. Customer service appalling they don't answer the phone and the information regarding delivery time is incorrect (estimated delivery time for item we ordered was never updated on website).0 -
I too have had a very bad experience with this company,we ordered almost £2000 of furniture under the expection of delivery within 2-4 weeks.
No comunication was received from the company and after 3 weeks I emailed them for an update.
- I got a reply 3 days later to say they were expecting stock later that week.
- 13 days later I emailed for an upadate again. Response was that one of my items was out of stock for another 4 weeks.
I requested seperate deliveries to get the items which were in stock - to be told that it was their suppliers policy to deliver all the stock in one go so they could not separate my order.
2 weeks later I received a phone call to say that they now could separate my order.
I received my delivery a week later and one item was damaged when I unpacked it - I reported this to the company with photographs to prove the damage.
I again had to chase the company for an update. After 2 days I was offered compensation to keep the item - but I decided against this and asked for a refund and they collect the damaged item.
They did not tell me when my final item would be in stock, something I paid £400 for, almost 10 weeks before. I cancelled the order for this and once I have been refunded I will source this from another company.
I would not recommend this company - the information on their website advising of timescales is vague to say the least - they have no concept of managing customers expectations or of communication or customer service.
If they had kept me informed of delivery dates and contacted me with changes then I would have been happy to wait for my order - as it is I have no confidence in them.
They have some very good feedback on their website from satisfied customers but sadly I am not one of them.:(0 -

I have found them to be absolutely fine - responsive on both live chat and by phone.
Good quality items, delivered when they said they would be.0
