Opening a NS&I Inflation linked Savings

Options
hi guys been trying since 7:10am to try and speak to someone regarding a question i had, i was hoping you guys can help me:beer:

1. Do they need my savings money in my current account (as they ask for a debit card) to take the amount i want to invest into the NS&I savings? or can i do a transfer when its opened from my NS&I savings account (i.e Lloyds eSaver account transfer it online to the NS&I account)?

2. Will this only be available for a short amount of time? as it seems really busy and people rushing in with the product?

any help much appreciated i been trying for 2 hours trying to get hold ofsomeone :(

Use your current account card online. It will come out of your current account in a few days.
It will go sometime but will probably last a few weeks or months.
