Good Morning everyone ,not quite so sunny today but a lovely drying day nonetheless. My big brother Davy is off to visit his DD in Cork today until next week and its been great to see him.My sis-in-law from Faversham (eldest brothers widow) came to lunch yesterday as well and told us all about her travels to Mexico to visit my niece Lorraine. She is coming over to England for a visit in June so I am hoping to see her then. She has lived in Mexico City for 30 years and is married to a Mexican chap. She too will be doing the rounds of the family whilst she is over here .That's the trouble when a large part of ones family live in far-flung spots around the globe you only get to see them now and again. Davy just rang to say he had arrived at his son's in London O.K. and he is off to gatwick later to pick up his flight.
My youngest DD Tess arrived last night with a lovely pot of Chrysanthemums for me bless her and eldest DD Shelley rang in the evening and we had quite a long chat, so all in all it was a lovely day.
I have done a wash load and its blowing away on the line at the moment and I'm just about to sort out a card for my DGS girlfriend for next week as its her 21st birthday. She is a smashing lass and adores my DGS so that makes her just about perfect in my eyes.:)
I shall probably do the ironing today and watch some catch-up T.V. whilst I'm doing it. There is more than enough bits left over from yesterdays lunch for dinner tonight and I have no shopping to buy this week at all.
I hope everyone has a good day and <<hugs >> if you are feeling a bit down or unwell.
Next week my son-in-law finds out for sure whats happening about his job its looking increasingly likely that it will dissappear in the reorganisation of the KCC, very worrying for us all,but we will get through it somehow as we all pull together in our family and stick like limpets when things go wrong.
    Take care all
    Cheers JackieO xx

DGS Ben seemed to think his R.E.exam went o.k. ,better than he had hoped I think

    Good Morning (just) x
Very dull and overcast here today. I have washing but think i will use the TD. Just waiting for Mooloo's DGD to arrive from nursery as DD has just gone to collect her. Mooloo is feeling poorly so we are looking after her here and I have got DD's old dolls house and the boys trains/ track out of the garage. We also have play dough and other bits so hopefully will keep her occupied. DD has to revise the afternoon as she has an AS tomorrow so hope she can get on a bit:eek:

Not much else today. Im frustrated with my doctors as they need to write me a letter and its been going on for ages now. I hate to complain as they are so busy but I need to get it sorted. I went in again this morning and hopefully might be ready tomorrow afternoon???

    Have a good day xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Mind you i scrubbed the kitchen whislt i was upset so kids wouldn't see me :o. In the comotion i forgot Mr A was delivering today, so missed them whilst i was out :o. So trying to get it delivered again :o.

Carpets have been cleaned, Kitchens done, washing's out. Chicken is marinating in the tikka paste. Need to sort kids room out too , thats my next job.

I forgot to say y'day....remember DBIL passed away....well one of his friends went to a spritualist church and he came through at the end of the service, and said "Tell my family I tried really hard to come round in hospital, It took me a long time to accept that I had died, but I'm really happy where i am now" He was described to a T. So me and MIL are going to one tomorrow - a bit nervous about it, but looking forward to it aswell.

Better get on Hugs all round.

    Just a quickie from me....

I'm off to uni in a mo to hand in all my work :D then we are off to the pub to celebrate (shhh work think I'm in lectures today ;) ). My colleague is picking me up in half hour so I can have a drink or two, and I'll get a train home.

Work flew by this morning, my student social worker was signed off her placement with flying colours :) she finishes on Friday with us and I'll miss her loads cos we have become good friends.

    Have a good day all

Tried to get on here yesterday but my internet was down. Also having problems with my laptop.

BB glad your dog is ok.
Hugs to anyone who could do with one.

Got my friends dog staying with me for a couple of days, he's so lovely even if he is the size of a prize pig (he's a rottweiler / newfoundland cross).

Went out with friends last night, so have been for a nice long walk to get my car.
Tea tonight is mushroom soup, HM bread and pancakes. Off to srtip some more woodchip in my hall:eek:.

    Afternoon all!

Still alive, but laptop is poorly, and reading on phone makes my eyes cross over lol!

dd1 is deep in exams, like many other on here, she seems less stressed than usual about them, so all is good! Other monkeys are plodding along and being pretty good about their chores at the mo - finally seem to be getting through to dd3, my mess monster, that if she tidies as she goes then it won't be such hard work!

Went through house yesterday like a mad woman, so all is clean and tidy for today at least! Means os stuff limited to usual dw, wm, bm, yoghurt, s&s kitchen and feeding everyone! Dinner tonight will be stir fry: prawn, chicken or veggie according to preferences!

Right best go drag hound out for a walk, running behind today as one of our cats had kittens last night, so I've been admiring 5 extra wee furries!

Have a good day all xxx

BB she is doing so well, thank you for asking. She has made lots of friends, had a sleepover, goes to afterschool sports clubs every school night and has made the school netball and hockey teams. The change in her is amazing I have never seen her so happy.School are very happy with the changeover and said she is gaining confidence every day, her grades have also gone up .She still sees 1 or 2 of her friends from her old school who wasn't involved in the bullying and they are now harrassing their mums to move schools, I recieved a letter from the old school saying how disapointed they were that we were unable to reach an amicable path to go forward with.Tough they had their chance;) The old school is fantastic where the boys are concerned but thats another story.

    Afternoon All

Had a nice lie in this morning because DS hasn't got an exam till tomorrow afternoon and then algebra  on Friday morning.

I am feeling a bit better today so the steroids have kicked in.

Grey here today and we had rain this morning but I have had a potter in the garden for half an hour and my fruit and veggies seem to be doing ok especially the strawberries - it looks like a bumper crop this year so I will dehydrate some of them.

bargainbird Glad that doggy is ok. I hope that the visit to the spiritualist church goes ok. Don't let others poo poo the idea I went to one after my Dad died and it helped a lot.

Lowsey thought you had gone off and had the babe without letting us know, take care of you and rest as much as you can while you can x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
