Morning all!!
Hope everyone is okay. I have a four day week this week so it's my thursday today!
Been up and gone for a run with the dog, just about to go to work. Need to go for another later i hope! OH is working on the farm today so who knows when we will next see him!!
I need to sort out our kitchen later - it's the one room in the house that never manages to stay tidy!!
Sausage, jacket potato and beans for dinner tonight, good old comfort food (I hope the bad weather keeps up, I'm in one of them moods today!)
Still waiting for my P60 so i can arrange my tax rebate, i think i'm due around £400...I'd like to put it toward a holiday for OH and i, but know that putting it towards dent repayments is more sensible... I've set my self a task of getting my smallest debt of £1500 paid off this year. So, will be selling some of my designer bags on ebay.
My toluna gift voucher came through a couple of weeks ago, and i treated myself to new jeans, so will be working hard to rack up the points on that again - now i know it works i will save the vouchers towards christmas.
Pack lunch is made, hair is done, just need to put on some slap then off to work!!

Morning all!
We had rain last night:T:T:T
I managed to get another area about 1x3meters cleared ready to plant up. I will have to get on and plant more seeds to use the space. Just wish I hadn't been so demotivated and sat on my fat backside for the first part of spring
Dinner today will be chicken and spinach in a spicy sauce in the SC.
((((free hugs)))) for those who need or want. Have a good day all.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Looks like it rained here in the night so haven't put any washing in yet. Have to go to work after lunch to see a student-don't normally work on Wednesdays but needs must. Just as well I walk to work it's ten minutes around the corner. I'll ring this morning to see if she's in.
I'm in bed with the lappie but need to get up and have breakfast in a minute. Need another cuppa and will have a look at the flylady list.
Tea will be sausages with cauliflower and broccoli cheese-whoopsied cauli ! DS loves this.
Hugs to all and have a good day.
Good luck to those with exams.

Morning everyone,
Washing is out on the line, mince is out of the freezer defrosting for chilli for tea, kids off to school with packed lunches, OH off to work with HM soup and bread and I am at work having a 5 min sit down before I officially start at 8 45.
Does anyone know how to keep pigeons off cabbage plants? They are leaving all my other veg alone but they seem to love the cabbage seedlings and I can't keep running down the garden yelling at them!
Yesterday I found a yogurt at the back of the fridge that was a month out of date. The old me would have thrown it away but the new MSE me had it for lunch, there was nothing wrong with it.
Have a good day everyone.:)0 -

Morning my lovelies
good luck to all taking exams today
off to Stratford this morning, DS is growing overnight and his jeans are just too short  so off to buy him some cheapie ones from the George store there.
Rest of the day will then be doing what i can be bothered to do (another poor night sleep here with DS) so need to clean the kitchen and hand up the washing I've just out on.
Tea tonight is a makeshift as I am going to tap class (for the first time in about 3 weeks ).

Morning all
Bright sunny day here. Up at bit late today, but chickens now fed and kettle on.
Am going away camping on Friday so need to spend today and tomorrow preparing etc. Am trying to do baking ready to take with us, as we can't afford more than the basics while away. Made a couple of batches of banana muffins from whoopsied bananas, and a recipe in the baking index. Made some bread, but will need to make some more today to ensure we have plenty.
I have been buying packs of cold meat and biscuits in the past week that have been on offer, so I will have some cheap stuff to take with us. I froze a dozen twinks hobnobs last week from a batch I made so they are ready to go. I may bake some more today. (It's my way of using the oven while my bread is rising on the top of the hob).
May go to the charity shop and see if they have any good books to take with us - 40p each.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning All ,
A little less stressed than I was last night so it's safe to read my post without fearing for my DH's lifeAlthough he now knows better than to try and tell me how I'm supposed to be feeling
I actually had a half decent night's sleep and this is the first morning in about 3 months I've not woken up in pain :T
Awww jackieg - hugs honey you're not silly xx
BB - hope your doggy is better soon
Good luck to all those with exams today.
Have got to arrange some stuff to do as I am climbing the walls (doesn't help that I can't drive - get in my car and where I have to have the chair to give bump room, my feet don't reach the pedals properly :rotfl:) so am off to join the local library this morning and have my cousin over this afternoon. She's always good for a laugh so maybe the hysterics will get baby thinking it's time to go!
OS wise today, need to tackle the ironing although looking at it, there's barely any to do (just difficult when you have to lean right over to reach the iron and board!) and I may bake a cake. Really, really fancy a proper Victoria sponge - hmmmmmm off to see what jam I've got in the fridge!
Have lovely days all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Hi all, hugs for everyone.
Miserable looking here today, think we are in for some much needed rain.
Ds3 has an English Exam this afternoon. Fingers firmly crossed for him and all others taking exams at the moment, they are so much more stressful than when I did mine many moons ago;).He doesnt have to go in until half an hour before the exam begins but has decided to go in 2 hours before to go to a last min revision class.
Ds3 has now finished school for this half term he has yet another bug which has knocked him out .So school decided to end his term early. He will get any work missed via his tutor that visits twice a week now.
No washing today , so am going to be in the kitchen baking for the afternoon, ready for the troops to return with their usual cries of " we got any biscuits", got to love them anyone would think they never get fed.;)
Dinner is pork chops, root veg mash and peas n sweetcorn.
Not much else going on today , have a lovely day all:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0
