I don't want to rain on anyone's parade or anything, and I totally agree that Tesco are idiots and SHOULD honor DTD for say a week at least, BUT don't you think people are getting a little over excited? You can only LEGITIMATELY claim DTD of £20 per shop, which doesn't really seem worth the time/effort. I have no doubt that Tesco will also pull lots of tricks in order to N/A or N/F as many products as possible or will simply reduce them to match ASDA.

If you are intending to go mad with this for the next few days (if it's even possible) may I just remind everyone that this is why the promotion got pulled in the first place!!

You can remind us - whether or not any of us with helanas style stashes give a monkeys is up for debate. Not with me though. Oh, and £20 a day not being good? How many people go mad for saving £5 on a bloody lisptick or £10 at bodyshop. This is £20 (or £100) every day, per household (pond, kennel, cat box) etc.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

It was pulled because Tesco don't like being played at their own game. They may have BLAMED DTD'ers for it being pulled, but really all they had to do was not make promises they couldn't or wouldn't keep or do their homework and change prices in line with other retailers.

MY fish loves Pinot and needs a lot to fill his pond. Also, how's he supposed to keep his filters clean without Fairy dishwasher tabs? He's not too keen on the lamb racks though but keeps them for when he has guests (the terrapin, frogs, next door's cat etc). Oh, and next door's cat loves the Princes tuna. :rotfl:
