covetting a kindle...does it make me a bad person?

Its purpose is to read books, the processor is more than enough to do this, I know because I use it constantly. If I wanted to browse the web I would buy a tablet as the screen IMO is the biggest problem with slow browsing.
I absolutely agree. The device exists as a reader and it fulfills that function very well. However, as we tavel to Europe reasonably frequently, I paid the extra £40 for the 3G model, not to buy books (there's always free wifi somewhere for that) but thought it would be useful for keeping track of news ocassionally when out or range of hotel free wifi networks. After getting used to the no-mouse navigation system (there is a learning curve), I frequently found myself using the Kindle for web access instead of my smartphone. When you get used to it, it's perfectly usable and useful and having free 3G access abroad is definitely (for me) a major bonus. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
