hi ive just bought a new lap top a acer . but it keeps shutting its self down ,any help would be great .,thank you

plug mains adaptor in, it may need charging. Otherwise take it back and ask for replacement or money back

Is it shutting down, or hibernating or sleeping ?

hi the adapter is plugged in .i do intend to take it back tomorrow thanks

See if you can see anything on Administrative Tools/Event Viewer then Windows/System ... if it stays up long enough.
