Just to update everyone...appears that I'm an utter cow. After one last ditch attempt at email telling her I don't understand why I have had no contact I get an email back this evening telling me she had a loss in the family. My coat should be here on Friday. I am horrified at myself for being so self-centred though I suppose...what else would anyone have thought in the situation and the given turnaround time for the delivery.:(

well you're not a cow - and it seems that deaths in the family come up quite a lot when there is poor customer service.... (i may be too cynical, but what if it is true - you didn't know and you couldn't have guessed so don't worry about it). the seller has been very cheeky to blackmail you into paying more by threatening to pack the item badly; i wouldn't have given the benefit of the doubt before emailing!

The devil who sits on the shoulder of crap sellers strikes again by wiping out a family member.
If you have a little look at her account, see whether she's listed, bid or left feedback in the time she was by the death bed, it's amazing how often they can drag themselves away to tinker on a computer but never feel the need for a breath of fresh air on the way to the post office.

Ahhh the old, someone has died card to explain a late delivery, or non payment, or some other !!!! up.
It happens of course, and very sad if so, but do you believe it?
I don't, but i'm an old cynic when it comes to Ebay, and with the infrequent issues i've had on there a ridiculously large percentage have had some kind of personal issue (death, drama, chicken got run over etc)
Hope it arrives op, and if not open that INR case (in Paypal) get your money back and do as you see fit with regards to Feedback and DSR's.

I thought that you had paid extra for next day delivery, so if she could answer you today why couldn't she get to the post office?
maybe she'll refund you part of the postage.
If it hasn't cost her the amount she's charged you then do hit the p&p charge star.

I did, I was far too worried about it getting "lost" in the post. I'm under the impression she only got back this evening as the email was sent at about 8pm. she's posting it out tomorrow so as long as it's here by Friday I'll be satisfied. I will Definitely be checking the postage costs though not to worry!!!! :D
