Online access HBOS/Halifax/Nationwide ISAs

Howdy chaps,
Wondering if anyone has one of the above and can comment on the online control you get over the account?
I'm looking to transfer last year's ISA plus add contributions this year but I need easy access to be able to transfer money to my current account (held with another bank) as the ISA is for our wedding fund and we periodically have to pay deposits on various things. I really don't want to have to go into the branch each time I want to transfer cash to my account with another bank. The wording online is not promising - "View your savings online 24/7 and transfer money between your own Bank of Scotland accounts." but I thought I'd ask
Cheers

Both of my Halifax ISAs feature in the quick transfer drop-down along with my other Halifax accounts and have a 'transfer' link in each separate account balance area, but no direct 'payment' facility.0

Halifax and BOS - you can transfer to any other Halifax or Bank of Scotland account online, but not (directly) to another bank.
To transfer it to another bank, you can either:
(1) Phone up, and they'll send it over the phone; or
(2) Open another account at Halifax (I'd suggest Web Saver Reward, which pays 2.8/3% and takes about 5 minutes to open). You can then transfer money directly from the ISA to the Web Saver, and from there on to any UK bank account.0 -
I am continually amazed by the things you guys come up with that I'd never thought of! Brilliant, thanks very much for the input
