No network access on laptop - please help

I take it from what you said in the OP that it connects to the router but wont access the internet. Or does it tell you it cant connect to wireless network or no network available??
Also what security protocal you using , WEP, WPA?

I did the windows network diagnostics which says - Troubleshooting was unable to automatically fix all of the issues found.
Problems found
"Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration Not fixed
Problem with wireless adapter or access point DetectedHandle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0
