Hi - everyone who has PMed me back so far has got a jacket. We are actually waiting for five more of the selected trialists to reply.

So if you got a message, please do reply - there are still some left.

    Thanks!

Thank you MSE Jenny - just to confirm that I received a jacket today. I am looking forward to using them for my journey. Of course I will post more info and pictures when I actually use it!

I tried the jacket on and echo what the others have said - its pretty big - okay it swamps me a bit!) but I suppose they have to make sure it fits everyone who trials instead of messing with sizes and whatnot. (i'm not a skinny chick either :rotfl: )
The thing to remember is that the pockets are on the inside of the jacket rather than being attached on the outside. So if you want to be able to stuff the pockets and still zip it up its going to need to be a size or 2 bigger than your normal clothes.

Hi Jennie, I'm already abroad having arrived on Tuesday 24th May by Easyjet, so have replied to your message and hope that the jacket will reach my home address for my partner to bring it here with him when he joins me on June 14th. We can provide photos both of him in it travelling out here and then me on my return journey when we shall return together.
I hope that fits your criteria.
I'm planning the pocket contents already!:T

hi just confirming that my jacket arrived yesterday Thanks. OH is travelling next weekend on ryanair so he will use it first, had a slight problem with one of the zips sticking on the inside material, got it freed but hope that it is not a problem again.
suits OH better than me he is 6ft 4 and unloaded is nicely loose on him, and a good lenght . He has already put a laptop in one of the large pockets and said when travelling with all of us he would like another laptop in the other side to balance him out.
I am 5ft 2 tall and it swamps me unloaded, have to admit it is not "chic travelling" gear but happily accept to get some spare pairs of shoes on holiday!
we own a holiday home in Italy and frequently take things out there as required, Next weekend OH has to fit a 2 metre washing machine tubing in one of the pockets .
    update when packing.

Just to let you know my jacket arrived Wednesday, very speedy as I didn't reply to the pm until late Monday.
The jacket is huge, I'm 5'7" and a size 10, I look like an after poster for a weight watchers ad. It isn't the most stylish but it is very lightweight, one of my concerns was that a coat with 10kg in the pocket would be uncomfortable to walk in let alone travel in but its so light and it's sleeveless too which means you could wear another coat underneath. DH has already wished me luck with the trial so doesn't sound like I will be able to get him to wear it as it would fit him better.
We fly out Friday 3rd but I have to be packed by Wednesday so I shall update later

Just to say the jackets are now all gone. Anyone who PMed me (up to this moment) has got one. Look forward to hearing the feedback!
