How do you mean 'slide'? with a slidey screen like the ancient Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets or an actual slide....like the ones kids use??

Am quite taken with the latter, be interested to see if you have a mocked up idea...(PMSL!) The former, nope, see no reason to make technology any more bulky or to create 2 parts to a handset when one works perfectly well already.

Do you have any ideas on why a i-phone slide would be a good idea/what do you think they need that they don't have? (Aside from a cheaper version!)

    No
Slides have gone out of fashion completely so no. I'd be interested in knowing whether they would do a qwerty though.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)

Blackberry has gone and crated the Blackberry Torch 9800 Slide & Touch screen; so thought ''hhmmm what about the iPhone - wonder what they're planning'' Not sure about bulkyness I think if they did a slide they'd make it extra slim.:D

Only if I could land in an iPhone ball pool.

Oh, and Mr Jobs...don't you have an R&D department to handle things like this? ;)

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
