Hoping one of you can help me with this.
I have a digital piano which I'm wanting to record from, via its audio out to my laptop audio/mic in.
I have installed Audacity and can record fine. All good but what I can't do is listen to the audio at the same time (pretty important when playing piano!)
I have done a bit of Googling on this but not managed to sort it.
If I double-click on volume button in taskbar and click 'mixer' there are no settings there referring to mic/audio in.
If I open up Realtek Acer HD audio manager and on the microphone tab, it's not showing as muted.
not sure where to go from here - very grateful for any suggestions/solutions!
Cheers

Have you tried setting Audacity's mixer toolbar to "stereo mix" instead of "Line in" or "mic"?

The dropdown menu is greyed out
Did try enabling "software playthrough" but there is then a .5 second or so delay which is a pain0 -
Buy a real soundcard. All Creative Sounblasters have a "record what you hear" function.0
