Singapore Airlines is not cheap, Royal Brunei can be cheaper, no alcohol on board of course but being under 18 you wouldn't want to drink anway. The lowest fares on these routes are generally not on line but through a good travel agent such as Trailfinders, give them a call but if you are travelling at the end of July it is too late to get cheap flights. Under 18 you be treated as an adult fare wise and I don't think either airline offers student fares which presumably you are too young for as you won't have an NUS card yet? If you do, try STA Travel but compare prices as even older students sometimes find non student fares even cheaper than STA0

Not sure of what prices you have been quoted so far. Have you looked at Air Asia? I just picked a random date in July and Kuala Lumpur to Brunei is £35 inc taxes one way. They fly to KL from Stansted and if you are flexible on dates you may be able to get a good price.0

You should be able to get flights to Singapore or KL much cheaper if you fly via the Middle East on one of the Gulf carriers i.e. Emirates, Ethiad etc. Plus you get the chance to stretch your legs for a few hours at halfway.0

Hey,
Have you tried giving Kayak a go? Whenever I travel I always use it - give it a go and you may find much cheaper flights.
My advice is check out the cheapest providers website and you may get a bigger discount than is what is on the kayak site.
Also being flexible on weekdays and late/early flights also helps
Hope that helps0
