Looking for a SIM only deal for my iPhone 4

But, the two I've settled on as far as signal in the areas I'm most in have a bit of an odd thing going on.
Both Tesco and "3" have SIM only deals for £10 but if you go for an iPhone SIM only they add £5 per month.
Same minutes, Internet and txts but they each cost an additional £5.
I asked the guy on "3" and he said, "that's because it's a Micro-Sim". Sounds like a scam but I spoke to their manager
She told me all you have to do is go for an ordinary SIM deal, request a Micro-SIM and you're off and running.
They also say Voicemail is included in your allowance and it is technically possible to tether, up to your limit.
All sounds very promising so I may go for the 1 month SIM, then as long as it works out, swap to the 12 month plan for only £10 per month

It is a scam. Nothing stops you from cutting.
Why are you asking if you have already done this in the past?

BTW, I think you can find a better deal at chitter-chatter (t-mobile) or giffgaff.
    Otherwise, don't forget about guidco/TCB.

You can get 250 mins/unlimited texts & unlimited internet on giffgaff for £10 per month on payg not contract.
Get a micro sim with £5 free credit by going to giffgaff dot com/thinking of joining & there is a thread there to get a free micro sim for iphone 4.

Thanks both. It came out as kind of half a question because when I was writing it, the manager from 3 called me and gave me more info
    Will look at giffgaff
    Cheers

From what I can tell though, there is only free internet until May 31st so I would pay 20p per day if you use 1MB and over 20MB it becomes 20p/MB
The 3 Network gives you 1GB for free and then it's only 10p/MB

Also, looking at the Ofcom and Network maps, the coverage from 3 is better than my current O2 in the places I use most (GiffGaff uses O2 masts)

Search the board for giffgaff. I think "May 31st" is for PAYG only.
