HELP Computer is sending rude stuff to contacts

Something has got into my contact details and is sending inappropriate emails to some of the people in my contact list. I need to clear all the addresses to stop this happening.

Can any one talk me gently through this?

Do you have a local email client such as Outlook etc, or do you use webmail like say Hotmail.
If it's as I suspect Hotmail, then your account has been compromised and you need to change your password asap.

I use Hotmail

How do I change it please

You will need to log in to Hotmal via your web browser with your current password, and there should be an option to change it there

definatley change your password, this happened to me, log in and go to options under where it says your name and its in account info there, you will find that this thing will now stop

change your password to hotmail. clean out your cache on all the broswers that you use. Download MalwareBytes and run it.

CCleaner is a very good way of clearing cache etc - I'd download that
