Iphone 4 Unlocking Question

Hi,

Just bought an Iphone 4 online and it needed activating with AT&T which luckily i had an old sim card which i just cut to fit the micro sim tray.

I want to unlock it so it runs on European/UK networks.

The iphone 4 is running the following

Version - 4.3.1 (8G4)

Modem - 04.10.01

All the help in simple terms would be great thanks!

    There is no unlock for an iphone 4 on that software.Best thing to do is sell it.

    No, the only way to downgrade the firmware would be to jailbreak it first. Catch 22. . .

    You can jailbreak on the software your using now but it wont do any good as the modem firmware is 4.10 and that cant be unlocked or changed.
