Solicitor's fees - do these fees seem reasonable? EA's recommended solicitor v local

Had a quote from our EA's recommended solicitor. They work closely with the agent, are based next door and have been in business for a year or so. They don't charge legal fees on failed exchanges. Are these fees reasonable? Sale of our property at £192k: Legal fees £595.00 plus VAT Telegraphic Transfer fee £35.00 plus VAT…

Thanks for that. Just annoying as it was only after phoning around a few other places that we were made aware of this extra charge. Not something we're worried about paying, but you prefer a solicitor to be open about any extra charges, especially as they knew it was a flat. At the end of the day, they're all in te same boat regarding not knowing the charge, so why they couldn't at least mention it in passing is strange.

Never mind.

As it happens we've been able to reduce the local solicitor's fees and stamp duty fee to match a lower priced non-local solicitor, so we're quite happy about that.
