Orange - unable to make/receive calls - breaking contract?
Comments

Orange plan to replace their entire 2g network, somewhere in the region of 10000 masts, they've signed a contract with Huawei to do this, this will also allow an easy upgrade to 4g when needed. The 3g network is currently oversubscribed but again plans are in place to ease congestion, they've already routed all of their mobile broadband traffic onto TMobiles network, they're also spending big £££ upgrading 3g capacity, but these things take time to put in place. Things are improving
But that's no use to anyone at this moment; people should sign contracts on the basis of the now not the future.0 -
I'm sure if they could wave a magic wand to make it better they would.......0

I suffered the same problem for 6 months, on and off. So frustrating. I ended up cancelling my contract with 3 months remaining. Even switching to 2g didn't help. Moved to 3 and the coverage and service is fantastic~!!:oGetting married 23rd June 2012!!:o0

Yet when you are out of 3 coverage, it goes onto Orange.0

I have had problems with Orange for 18 months or so.
They have had problems since they started selling smartphones hand over fist as these phones put a lot of strain on the network.
I had major issues with the incredebly substandard overseas customer service- over 98% of them just fob you off and ask you to call back in 24-48 hours.baldly going on...0
