Hi,
I'm trying to find out what the speed limit is on Chichester by-pass?

I drive down that stretch of road on a regular basis and would say its 70mph (dual carriageway).
I am trying to recall if I have seen any speed signs saying different.Halifax CC - £374.58 Vanquis CC - £2300 HSBC Loan - £7000 SimplyBe - £458.270 -
Look's like a dual carriageway and has NSL (white with black diagonal stripe) signs.... Speed limit = 70mph

I don't know the road - but NSL does not mean 70mph - it means National Speed Limit whch varies depending on the vehicle you are driving - that's why we have it.0

And the road NSL is different on a country road to a motorway .

Do you see big round signs with a bright red border and big numbers in the middle? If no then it is still NSL.0 -
Certain roundabouts are 30mph [Urban NSL]....but the majority of the DC seems to be rural NSL
