    I always give my tins a good shake before opening. Beans and sauce evenly distributed.

    I don't bother, I'm going to stir them with a spoon while they are heating in the pan, so why bother shaking the tin.

    then you dont end up with a load of sauce and a few beans if your not using the whole tin at once
