Amended thread titles not updating

Hi there
On the GIOL board, there are several threads which I started and for which I need to update the thread title to highlight time-sensitive new offers.
It has worked fine until the last week. However, now, when I try to update thread titles, although it appears to work (and does work, if I look at Post 1), the new title of the thread is not updated on the main forum front page, where the old thread title persists.
Is this a glitch that can be sorted? Can anyone offer any advice, please?
Thank you.

The ability to change a thread title has a time limit on it.

After that time has expired, any change only alters the heading for the first post, and not the thread title that is displayed on the boards.

Board Guides for that board can still change the thread title once that limit has expired, so sending them a PM requesting the title change is the quick answer.

Or if practical, you could instead start a new thread?

I've no idea exactly how long the "time-out" for changing titles is set at, but maybe the MSE Admins could increase that as well?

Thanks for the advice and for this suggestion. Good idea.
