Dripping Gutter

We have a 18 year old house. It has a sloping canopy roof running across the the front of the house at ground floor, over bay window, porch and garage.

It has a black plastic gutter with a couple of joints that drip after rain. One annoyingly where you come into the porch...

It is south facing so gets blasted by the sun in summer so I guess a lot of expansion and contraction. It is square (ish) profile.

I have cleaned it out more than once, and whilst it doesn't drain fully there is minimal water left.

What I don't want is staining a new drive, in the short term anyway.

Any ideas?

I intend to dismantle, remove, clean the seal strips and their channels. Are the seals likely to fall apart, with age, if I did this?

A product called Gutterseal has been recommended to apply on the joint area prior to reconnecting. Has any body used this - any tips?

TIA

You will need to get new seals - they have failed already if the joints are already dripping. Don't use any sealant products - the gutter needs to be able to expand and contract due to thermal expansion.

The cost of new seals will probably be less than buying the Gutterseal.
You're lucky i have a gutter that drips after heavy rain but my house is about 70yrs old with cast iron guttering and they don't make it any more.

I am sure they do make it well you can still buy cast iron guttering as I was looking for some pipe nails and came up with at least 2 sites that sell cast iron

I am currently restoring mine. Your meant to every few years apply bitumen paint many people dont though. I painted over rust with Hammerite, applied undercoat and paint it. Also applying bitumen which I did a couple of years back. Mine use to leak but I got some gutter sealant which stopped most (awful stuff to apply as its sticky and very springy), the bitumen paint fixed leak

I need to fix mounting on to house for drain pipes as some pipe nails have rusted away and make some spaces (wood between gap of drain pipe and house)

Hepworth (only just looked will google later) - in not half round it is flat bottomed, flat sided and then the bottom corners are cut away.

If you're not use to working from a ladder and not very confident being up there, what i've done. I bought a load of screw in rings and then drilled holes to put them all around the house. It took a while but i think it was worth it in the long run. Now whenever i need to work from the ladder i can tie a rope through the ring and around the rungs of the ladder.
You know then the ladder isn't going to move.

I use a standoff for a ladder and a bag of sharp sand from B&Q to stop ladder slipping
