    :bdaycake:Happy fifth birthday Miss BB2

Good luck to all those doing exams and/ or dissertations

Esmf - have you tried swarf3ga? I found it worked well on greasy, splashed tiles on the wall behind my cooker hob.

    Morning all

:D I'm in a rather good mood for a Monday morning :happyhear

Good luck to all those with exams, and Happy Birthday to Little Miss Bargainbird x

How amazing was Lady Gaga last night on BBC3/Radio1?! :D I'm a huge fan anyway but even more so now!

I'm off to work in a mo, need to meet my colleague in the next village and he is driving us to the next town where we are working today. I'm meeting one of the girls from my last group to finish off her portfolio cos she was taken into hospital so missed last few weeks.

I'm out for dinner with the girls tonight, and then when I get back I need to print off my assignment and then all my uni work will be done for the year :j

OS wise - DW on, that's about it!

    Have a great day all

Esmf - yes I'd forgotten about sugar soap. I should think that also would do a good job.

Morning all. Dracula been and less stressful than the nurse. Hopefully not needed again in the near future though.

Need to get in gear to do some work that has a deadline of TODAY:eek: Been putting my head in the sand and playing ostrich.

SC beef shin for dinner tonight. Smells wonderful. Hope it tastes as good. Both that and lamb sausages we had last night are DR and I've never had a failure there.

Good luck to all exam sufferers and happy birthday to BBD.

Could do with some advice though - have a rather yucky cooker hood to clean. Can't soak it as its fixed to the wall, so what can I get the layers of grease off with - any ideas?

I would try very hot water and bicarb so you have a huge arsenal at your disposal now ;)

Oh my word that takes me back to being a kid, my dad coming home from being a mechanic at the garage with that lovely engine smell on him (look I grew up next to a garage so petrol, car grease etc I really really love the smell of......OK I AM weird :rotfl:) getting his tin of Swarfega down and washing his hands and arms with the green jelly like stuff.........

Sorry back to reality :o Cool and cloudy here but dry for the moment.
Got a list of jobs I am going to tackle today (or "frogs" as they are known on the Matrix thread :rotfl:) so feeliing a bit more motivated and rested after a better nights sleep. I still kept poor H awake though with my snoring (due to my cold) so I fear I shall have to sleep downstairs tonight to give him a break ;)

Tea tonight should be cous cous patties which I will probably do with a salad. My lettuce is ready to start picking so had better start eating my way through the first trough :rotfl:

Good luck to all of you who have kids starting exams today, I don't miss those parts of my school days at all. So sending them all positive vibes that they will ace all their exams and sail through them as stress free as possible x

esmf - Happy Anniversary to you and Mr esmf have a lovely day xx

Bargainbird - Happy 5th Birthday to Miss BB, we need pics on FB of her bling ;)

JackieG - Hope you're still OK my lovey x

Hugs and spoons all round. have a good day OS or not.

    Morning all,
    Happy Anniversary ESMF
    Happy Birthday Miss Bargain Bird.

Night shift all done and I'm really looking forward to my bed once DS goes to school. Cold and grey here and I'm hoping for some rain for my poor garden. Shall get up later and stick a nice beef stew in the slow cooker. Other than that today is a pottering day once I get up probably around mid-day.

Hope all are well and hugs to all who need one, appologise if I've missed anyone out, brain no longer working!

    Nite, nite

    Morning all.

Going to Tesco this morning to spend my dtd voucher for almost 20quid. Had to do a proper meal plan for the week, as only have another 40pounds til the end of the month. Defo doing weekly budgets next month as I am so fed up with having to scrimp on everything from halfway through every month.

    dinner is bolog pasta bake.

That's about it. Happy birthday to Bargainbabybird:D, and happy anniversaries to those with them too.

Urrgh Monday again. DD is also starting her exams today so good luck everyone. Will be a stressful few weeks.

Had a brill weekend. Party went very well, yesterday we cleared up then collapsed on the sofa :o

Soooo, have lots to do today. Havev't got much planned this week but will be back and forward to the school as DD doesn't want to get the bus incase its late. Can see her logic. OH is hopefully working all week so am steadily going to go through my to do list.

Havn't menu planned yet, have a few leftovers so incorporating those firstly.

Better get my bum into gear now - have a good day all.x
