UK Based Dollars to Euro exchange

hi,

i have dollars left over from my honeymoon (roughly 300dollars)
our next holiday is in in europe in 3 months. what do you reckon is the bast way to chnage my money. is there anyone/way to change dollars direct to euro or do i need to go dollar-->£-->euro?

also wheres the best place to get this done? some say 'book your money' as i'm not going for a few months yet.

Most Currency Exchanges in the UK will only change to and from pounds and not between two non-Sterling currencies. If you go dollar -> pound -> Euro you will lose a lot as you will be paying for two transactions.

I would just keep the money in dollars then exchange it when you get to Euroland (but not at the airport) then you will only be paying for one exchange.

Yes exchange it when you get there otherwise you pay both ways .You will get a better rate when you get there .
