    The question is far too vague.
    There are far less expensive phones for 'general use'.

    ok so is it any good for txting and calls only and camera. and is £50 secound hand a good price. basically has anyone had one and whats the bad points. better??

    I think £50 is a good price for a second hand in good condition.
    However, IMHO a smartphone is not the best choice for texting/calls and camera because of a short battery life.
    If you buy it and don't have data allowance in your tariff, don't forget to disable mobile internet.
    Also, if it needs to be unlocked, find out the cost of unlocking.

    It's not about pay monthly or PAYG. If you don't use internet you have to disable it, otherwise the phone will keep using data without asking you. If internet is available on your PAYG tariff, it will cost you.

    Make sure you know how to switch the data connection off if needed and you know how much is to unlock it if needed.

    yeah thanks i know about that. i just meant id be payg and thought for £40 it was a good deal
