Downstairs has had its fly-treatment for the week, might whizz around with the vacuum if I get time later. Going to have lunch now and then move upstairs to tackle the bedrooms.

    Who wants a good laugh?

I tried washing the walls down with washing up liquid and warm water and it got rid of some of the marks but still some were left - so I got out the Jif.

Everything was going so well, I was sat on the stairs with a cloth with Jif on it in my right hand and an old washing up bowl with clean warm water in it to my left. It worked really well on the old stains. Anyhow, just thinking how much better it all looks when I got hit by a Tsunami - the bowl over balanced and I got soaked all down my left hand side, had to change my jeans and even my pants!!!! I was not amused at the time but now I think it's funny and thought I'd share it with you guys so you can have a :rotfl: at my expense.

    Warning to all:
When washing the stairway and sat on the stairs don't balance a bowl that is bigger than the stairs on them because as Mystic Meg used to say It could be youuuuu!

met up with a friend and had a good heart to heart about the job/interview etc. etc. she knows the ins and outs of the place so it was very cathartic to talk to her, I cried again, can't be right all this crying, it's only a job !!!!!!

(((hugs))) I'm so sorry you are having such a bad time at the moment xx

Thank you for all your kind wishes about Nana. Yesterday was not a good day. She wasnt well enough to go to the funeral. I looked after her for 3 hours last night to let Mum and Dad go out for a bit. I ended up having to change her twice and at one point she had no idea who I was :(. I take my hat of to all you carers. I dont know how you cope.

I didnt get the job that I interviewed for on Monday *sigh* I must phone and get feedback.

I am making a double malt chocolate cheesecake for my Dads party tomorrow. I forgot to buy the white chocolate doh! I'll make the base and then nip down to Tesco....again!! Oh well, at least my step count will be high today.

Hugs and spoons all round xx

Not sure I will finish my flying this week, even after the good start. I don't like flying when OH is off and I am feeling too tired at the mo. Off to watch tv in bad and doze.

Random thought.... If your Frog is also an Elephant Task, does that make it a Froliphant?:rotfl:
