Mamaninie, glad you're feeling better now and hope you have a lovely time in Ireland.

I have yet another daft question - what would you use to get rid of an old horrid mark on the wall? Would you use warm water with a tiny squirt of something like Jif (the yellow creamy stuff) and rub it gently? Decided it's time to tackle everything here and not just ignore it like I normally do :o.

    Thanks!

Feeling very tired as I got back from work at 1.30 this morning. I think this means my me-day in Edinburgh will not be happening as I can't be bothered to leave the sofa at the mo. OH has said he will come in with me tomorrow so I may just get myself into town for a wander later if I get any inclination to move.

Here is my list anyway, hopefully I will get something done.

sort out insurance policies that need renewing soon!!I have a car insurance quote and am going to ring my current insurer tomorrow to see if they will match it will not cross off yet as I want to do a price match on my life insurance.

    Thursday ~ Master Bedroom
    Level 1
Remove and wash bed linen. replace before bedtime!!!
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing fresh linen

    Good morning :D

Up, dressed, dog fed & walked & little Miss Sunshine is here :j She has said that she wants to do gardening today, rather than toddler group, so we shall see how we get on. Rabbit needs cleaning out aswell.

We are off in a mo to pick up patio set (Argos have a further 15% off a set which is identical to the one in Homebase we looked at :j) and to pay a deposit on our shed :T (DH's pay day today). Then its pottering about in the garden (watching him work, mainly ;)) before picking the other kids up at 1.30. I may get time to S&S the kitchen :o

    Morning

I've got a load of washing out on the line but it keeps really clouding up and it's not very warm. Probably because I've got all the doors and windows open to dry things out. Builders are coming at 9.30 :rotfl:to do some painting.

If I'd known they were going to be late I'd have tackled my understairs cupboard but if I get that lot out I'll be in the way when they do start. There's not much rubbish in there but it's all got disorganised with moving everything about and it needs taking out and putting back in properly.

Morning. Just devoured a frog :D Back to work bonus department of the JC phoned after finally finding the paperwork! I knew it was somewhere, but it had gotten mixed in with my business paperwork and its just taken me HH to find it in that lot after going through all my personal papers  Fortunately the man who answered the phone used to be an Avon rep 20ish years ago and was able to help me loads with what I need to fill in as he knew exactly what being a rep involves :D:j

Now to eat another frog, filling out the form and a covering letter (saying that I couldn't find the form and thats why it wasn't sent back in time!:o) and then look at the tax credits & HMRC letter. Posted first class tomorrow (it'll take me that long to get things together as I'm in school this afternoon and doing deliveries tonight as well as putting more books out) and I'll do a bank run tomorrow as well while DD is out with X :D

Its going to be a busy day So it'll be tweetz7.gif tonight :rotfl:

On paint? Warm water and a bit of washing up liquid to start with, light pressure, rinse well. Then bring out the heavy artillery or Jif if it hasn't gone. problem being, you may now have a clean patch and the rest of the wall needs cleaning...:D

Somebody's spotted cheap fleeces (£1.25) at Mr T's if you ae thinking winter curtain linings...
