How much should I expect to pay for a monitored alarm system including panic/health

  • I went ahead with Bulldog Security. They were extremely helpful, I was able to meet the head of the guard company that they use (and which I was able to verify was a good one), and they have been helpful since the couple of times I had a problem - moving a sensor, replacing something. The system itself seems excellent and the panic alarm portable button which we can carry around with us in the garden and house when one of us is out is reassuring. Some friends of ours have also signed up with them.

Age Concern charges for those, as does Saga, etc. My council doesn't supply them either. That doesn't mean I'm not considering them as an option.

maybe your council doesn't supply one. It's called lifeline/Careline are typical names, our council doesn't supply anymore but our local Housing association does. It's far cheaper than Bulldog security Even Age UK (Used to be called Age Concern) cover the country. These systems and back up are well proven and are better suited to "most" people who consider themselves vulnerable. And there are no "long term" contracts ;)
If youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day!!

What I have with Bulldog is much better as it doesn't rely on being anywhere near a telephone, anywhere in the house or garden it will alert the guard company.

Well you seem very happy and assured with what you have purchased so take great comfort in that. A lot of people buy stuff then think its a bit of a croc as soon as they get it home. You however have purchsed a product that is making you feel safe and cared for. Peace of mind = Priceless
:D The glass is always half full, no exceptions !!:D
  • I have a Bulldog Security alarm, when the advisor came to see me I did not think twice about purchasing the alarm. The product is fantastic and have not looked back. I accidentally set the alarm off and the monitoring people were on the phone straight away. Well worth a call to them if you are alone. Don't knock them until you try them.

I'm a Bulldog customer - besides the monitoring and security guard, they've given me excellent service every time I have had a problem. Eg stupidly having helium balloons in the way, work on various rooms in the house, etc has caused problems, need for relocation of alarms, whatever, all included in what I paid them.

shes not on the sales team, its the CEO's wife (im ex sales for bulldog)

but she is right, the product is amazing, as much as it pains me to say it because the working conditions are not the best, the alarm system is
