Egypt

Hello,

Im going to Egypt in 2 weeks, was wondering what currency I should take, should I take £? Is it better for tips?

    I usually just take sterling. I think they will take anything except Monopoly money. Don't use sterling for tips. Change it into Egyptian Pounds and try to get small notes.

    Take sterling and exchange it there. Far better exchange rate, no commission and easy to exchange anywhere.

    Tip in local currency if you can because it is impossible to change foreign COINS into Egyptian money there.
