Actually I removed the part of my sig saying I'm not responsible for what might happen if someone takes my advice

So if the thread was moved from there to here? Why the big deal about it being in the wrong forum?

Whatever. I'm done. Continue backseat modding if you wish.

the point is the forum it was posted in has a specific purpose
there was already an active thread on the subject matter
the OP had posted on it
you could simply say you didnt realise the thread had been moved,or finish you post with whatever and a poor attempt at a slight

Custardy posted his comments whilst the post was in the Grabbit forum. NOT when the post was moved here.

Agreed. You would have come out of this looking a lot better had you just said "oops, sorry didn't realise". Instead you managed to make yourself look rather silly.

I have several pairs, one worn regularly for the last 7 years. Pretty good value for money.

Both my kids wear them, they wash brilliantly and neither have ever worn a pair out.

    Excellent value for money.

We may be talking at cross-purposes here. I was meaning Sole Creator designed Converses, not Converse trainers themselves. The cheapest adult Converse on the Sole Creator website is now £70. Considering you can buy them for £24 most of the time in TKMaxx, and often £15 in the sale, you are paying £45 to have your design put on them. Seems a lot to me.

The £30 plimsolls they are doing look like the ones you can get in supermarkets for school.

Apologies, I thought you meant the shoes in general. :o
I did look at the site last week when it was posted and did that sucky air through teeth thing at the price myself, it does seem a lot I agree.

Anyone with a modicum of talent and a few pots of humbrol can design their own converse, I used to paint my own back in my youth. Only problem is you cant then throw them in the washing machine, and I suspect that you couldnt wash the ones on sole creator either.

No probs. I kind of didn't like to say on the original Grabbit thread, as people seems to be so looking forward to getting their Solecreator shoes, but they look like a very expensive, low quality, novelty item to me. Better to buy some inkjet transfer paper and print your own t-shirt transfers at less than a tenner imo, if you want to be creative.

I emailed Groupon yesterday complaining that since I bought my voucher the price had increased by £10 and got a full refund in my Paypal account today and an apology.
