So annoyed that Solecreator.com have chosen to increase their prices after the good people on here advertised their product.
They put themselves on Groupon yesterday, lots of us signed up and paid for one and now they have increased their prices by £10 per pair. Defeats the object really so I'm gonna cancel my Groupon, get my money back and go with another company.
So disappointed that I felt I had to post...sorry it's not a "grabbit" but at least those of you who have done the same in good faith will be able to make an informed decision to cancel should you be equally disgruntled.

so why post in the section?
there is a section for just this type of post0 -
Very, very poor behaviour. They will have had a huge increase in site visits and orders thanks to the mention on here and it's despicable of them to take advantage of that and put the prices up. Not unusual on Groupon deals as I understand it, but nonetheless not the actions of a decent company who care about their customers.
I didn't say this on the original Solecreator.com thread, but I thought the shoes looked pretty poor value for money anyway. The basic shoes are the kind of white pumps you can buy for about £3 and I wasn't that impressed with the photos I have seen, considering they now want £30 for them. The reviews in the other MSE thread are frankly not that good when you consider the price. Plus, you have a big Solecreator advert on the shoe tongue.
Bit cheeky of Adam from Solecreator to come on MSE talking about wanting customers to be happy and then putting the prices up £10 a few days later. I assume his posts have gone because he didn't get permission to post first. Maybe he would like to get in touch with MSE and give us a response about the price increases.0 -

which is on topic and within the grabbits board
unlike this thread that isnt and as such fantafan has not posted in the correct section as their reply inferred0 -
This is another thing to put me off groupon things. Not within the spirit of an offer at all, seems really mean! (I think this is a great place to put the thread btw, people who've taken advantage of the grabbit will want to know about the price increase surely?!)
Thanks OP!:eek::eek::eek:0 -
I'd been looking for the bargains people had grabbed but couldn't find them - this explains why. Thanks OP.
I won't be buying from solecreator.Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -

IMO, Converse look good, but wear badly. The fabric inside the heel is particularly prone to rubbing away, and that's the last place you want a rough surface making contact with your foot.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
