Both these fail
O2 have finally decided they shouldn't have quoted 3.5mB/s and the speeds I'm getting are probably all what is possible. I guess they confuse the distance from the exchange with the distance of the wire to the exchange (there is woodland between).

O2 have since asked me to have a look at my main telephone socket and it doesn't seem to be suitable for a test.0
