Can someone enlightened me if YBS accept ISA transfer from another provider?
On moneysupermarket.com it says they won't allow transfer in but on YBS website my own understanding says they will allow transfer in.
Clarification please. Many thanks.
see post 9, I applied on Friday.0 -
Have just got an email from YBS informing me that the E-ISA rate is going up from 5.15% to 5.40% from 10th December 2006, that was yesterday.
I recently moved my cash ISA from Smile to YBS - that was a good move, wasn't it?

Sounds good, I've also just moved from Smile to Kent Reliance mini cash ISA which is now offering 5.46% (direct postal account only).

How long does does your money appeared in your YBS account?
My wife has posted her transfer request last 14/12/06 to Natwest. She has checked her account online on the 22/12/06 and money was still there then on the 23/12/06 money has disappeared and account is closed.
She rang YBS today and was told they have not received any funds yet. She also rang Natwest today and was told that they can't accessed her ISA account since it was closed.
When banks going to send cheque to other banks specially if it's a sizeable amount, do they send it via registered mail or recorded mail?
Her last chance to clarify all these is to visit our local Natwest branch tomorrow. We hope that the money is still on transit.0 -
Don't panic. YBS will backdate the interest to the date of Natwest's cheque.Ethical moneysaver0
