So many bananas...

I had a home delivery from Mr T yesterday and one of the items I ordered was not available so it was substituted and pricematched.

I ordered 2 single bananas, which apparently were not available so I was given 2 BAGS of bananas (total of 11). :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just wondering what to do with all these bananas - going to cook banana cake tomorrow but that will only use 2 of them. I do like bananas but not that much!
It just amazes me that there wasnt 2 single bananas in stock!

I've eaten 2 cooking with 2 tomorrow - any ideas about the other 7? Seems a shame to throw them away - they'll soon go off!

Well, I'd just eat them, to be honest. Milkshakes? Smoothies? WIth custard as a pudding?

I think you can chop them up and freeze, then just blitz up with some milk for a smoothie

we go through about that many bananas a day, my children love them.

however how about having sliced up on wheatabix or museli, gorgeous.

banana custard for pudding, slimpy scrummy.

bananas and strawberry yoghurt, for some bizarre reason it is really tasty.

    make a fruit salad

no ideas on freezing them, as bananas in this house barely last long enough in the bowl to even see the next day, lol.

Banana muffins are nice and also if you cut them in half , dip them in honrybsnd chopped nuts and freeze on a tray, they are like lollies.

Wrap in puff pastry, bake and dust with icing sugar - just remember they are very VERY hot when they come out of the oven - but yummy!

They also do well in toasted jam sandwiches - but again, be careful as they heat up so much.

I don't normally like to admit I don't know what something is, I prefer to google it then pretend I knew all along.

But this has got me, and google, beat?
