discount on pay as you go phones

So I know it's possible to haggle for prices in certain shops such as currys but if you're buying a mobile phone is it possible to haggle?

The reason I ask is I'm looking for a new phone and the one i've decided on is £30 cheaper in Carphone warehouse but I prefer the o2 exclusive colour. Is it possible to haggle in an O2 shop to get the price down to the same as Carphone Warehouse??

Its possible, your result depends how good you are at haggling, what phone it is (forget it on iPhone), if the shop needs to make a sale to hit a target and how the sales person feels.

No harm in trying, worst will be is they say no.

Thinking of the blackberry curve 3g. I wouldn't go near the iphone- don't think its worth the money.
