This is a first for me and am finding the numerous contracts/deals from the many providers a nightmare.
can anyone recommend some websites where you can enter your current usage and phone requirements and the answer(s) just spill out?
|Also does anyone have any recommendations on avoiding any pitfalls there may be?
Thanks

Star with Martin's article: Cheap Mobiles Compare, switch & use cashback
Something like 'billmonitor' was mentioned there, but I have never used them.0 -
One potential pitfall that I'd flag up is the high cost you can be landed with on a pay monthly deal if you go over your inclusive allowance of whatever it is (minutes, texts, data). There are some great attractive deals (such as unlimited texts and 600 minutes for £10) - there are offers like this all over the place.
If you stay well within your inclusive bundle, then great. If you go over it, prepare to pay a fortune - 31p a minute, for example, on the above deal. Very high "run-on" rates are becoming more and more common.
Also look out for what isn't included. Again, using the above deal as an example, voicemail calls are not included and you pay 12.3p per minute. If you never use voicemail, this won't matter, but this is the kind of thing to be aware of!
Hope this helps.0
