Get them back then contact trading standards. If they have crushed under normal wear then they are not fit for purpose. H Samual sell over priced crap jewellery. It looks good but it's hollow and poorly made so I would demand a refund not a replacement.
Most items of jewellery are hollow now to keep retail prices for the consumers down as people are more likely to complain about the rising prices year after year due to the price of gold.0
