What a lovely idea, swap with someone and put them through that hell instead! You could get in serious trouble for doing that and not disclosing the fact he is a dealer.

Surely the police have to do something if he is dealing? See if your neighbours are willing to put in a complaint as a whole rather than as individuals and take it to the council together, after all they have a obligation to make sure their premisies are not used for dealing drugs surely?!

The dealer's may have friends who live the other side of town in a council property and want to move closer. Ya never know :p .

The police should be checking out any drug related calls, but they may not take infrequent or vague calls as seriously.

OP, why not find out who your daughter's Community Beat Manager on your police force's website, and get in touch with them. Also find out from the website when the next local PACT (police and community together) meeting is and go and voice your concerns in person.

You could also speak to the Safer Neighbourhood Team. They often work in conjunction with the local authorities to resolve specific problems, particularly where crime is involved.

I have a friend who works in the industry. If you want to pm me with the name of the social landlord, I can ask him if he knows who there would be responsible for handling complaints further up the chain. No guarantees, but I can ask.

We have already had meetings with the Safer Neighbourhood Team and they know everything thats going on ,it seems to me the problem is that my daughter is the only tenent complaining so they arnt taking action all the other tenents in the blok are friends and all go to the dealer for there weed so they arnt going to complain are they and they all party together in each others flats then when they get a visit from the council they just deny it ,its my daughter against 5 other tenents.
