Use a decent local broker (not Swintons).

So many people use the internet with a lot of non disclosure, that I am beggining to become convinced that Insurers are not offering their best rates online.

Have a go phoning around to test this out and post back.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Depends on the broker, but most have a panel of different Insurers and they run your details through to see which ones are the most competitive for you. Because they rely on obtaining business in your area, I would hope they have negotiated good rates. You arrange via the broker who sets up the payments for you. I say avoid Swinton as they have a poor reputation.

Find broker using BIBA or local directory.

    Hi everyone,
This is my first post so hello to everyone.
I am basically looking for a car insurance which offers a drive other cars policy for under 25. I am currently 23 and have 4 years of no claim bonus and my renewal is due in June.
My car is group 6 so not highly powered or expensive to insure.

The insurance group of your car has no influence on the insurance quote (for any car driver policies), look from their perspective you have a policy for driving any car with your little Group 6 runaround, you garage it and drive a Ferrari on the policy.

The odds of an under 25 getting a sensible quote for a driving any car policy is rather remote.

are you aware of any website which compares different insurares who offer drive other car policy ? btw, is drive other car available to anyone above 25 ?

I can't think of any online comparison sites, as has been advised in this thread, go and find a good local broker and let them try and sort it for you (if it actually is possible).

Why is driving any other vehicle cover so important?

Perhaps he wants to insure a Corsa and drive a Ferrari?

I have this cover at 21 with the NFU. The cover isn't meant for full time driving of other cars but rather for 'emergencies', for example you and some friends are at a pub and the driver gets !!!!ed, so you drive you all home in their car. If you're using it to be able to drive any vehicle then it's technically not allowed and I'm almost sure that the insurers would wriggle out of any claim and leave you with a criminal record for driving with no (invalid) insurance...

Quinn will come out more expensive than last year as they are under administration, one of the actions of the administrators was to restructure/price the UK market.
