Does anyone know if Griffon Forest is a must-take-a-car sort of place? I mean, you'd be looked at like a mad person if you turned up to Center Parcs without a car, is this the same sort of thing or will they not bat an eyelid at turning up on foot or in a taxi? :o

Actually, people go to center parcs without cars (bus, train, taxi etc) they have storage areas for luggage especially for people who don't come in their own cars.

Well, who knew! :) I've been enlightened. Only ever been in a car. It always seems pointless since it's just thrown into the car park for the weekend anyway!

I don't think anyone would notice to be honest as everyone is too busy with the hot tubs. You would be able to get a taxi from York to Griffin Forest and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there and its about a 15 minute walk from the cabins to a bus stop if you didn't fancy any of the walks when you're there.
