Terminating Orange Contract early

I am fed up with Orange, the cuts are noticing on the Customer care.
I have been with them for 4 years and have been told by a friend I am able to cancel early because I have been with them a length of time.
Can anyone confirm this, I think it is unlikely but worth a go.
Thanks

You can alweays cancle, even the day after you take the phone out, the question is what fee may you be charged.
How long you have been with them may or may not be relevent.
When did you last upgrade? Upgrades usually mean a new contract with a minimum term, if you have passed that you can cancel on the usual 30 days notice with no further fee.
If it's within the last 24 months you need to go look at you contract, it will most likely have been for 18 or 24 months, again if you have passed that time frame you can cancel on 30 days notice again without fee.
If your still in your minimum term then you can cancel but the early termination fee will be the no of monthe left on that minimum term x your monthly contract fee.0
